Anti-Ragging Committee

Anti Ragging Committee of Elite Public B.Ed. College Chianki, Daltonganj, Function to ensure compliance with the provisions of the regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging investigate complaints and also monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti Ragging Squeal in prevention of ragging in the institution. The main objective of Anti Ragging Committee is responsible for inculcating a culture of Ragging free Environment on Campus.

The Anti Ragging Committee is also responsible for conducting awareness programmes from time to time on campus. Anti Ragging Committee regularly engage in checking places like hostels , buses, canteens, grounds, classrooms and other places of student congregation to keep a vigil and stop the incidences of ragging.

No act of ragging, major or minor shall go unnoticed. No ragger, male or female, student or non – student, shall go take action against ragging shall be allowed to operate.

Roles and functions of Anti Ragging Committee:-

To prevent, Prohibit and Redress any and all forms and instances of Ragging in the college.
To educate the students on the meaning of ragging and what constitutes it.
To educate the students on the ill – effects ragging and the consequences include legal consequences of including in ragging.
To ensure overall disciplined environment in the college.
To creates awareness regarding women rights. To address complaints about ragging as per the Govt. and University procedures.
To offer services such as counseling, legal aid in case of atrocities against women.
